2010 has started off pretty strong from a training standpoint. I have now officially completed my first week of Ironman Training . I took this past Saturday and Sunday off to let my body recover from the sudden burst of activity. I had 6.5 miles of running, 17 miles of biking and 2.75 miles of swimming. You can tell that my swimming was solid and biking just getting started again.I took extra time off from running after the Chicago Marathon to allow my feet to get better and be ready to roll in this new year.
I am signed up for the Louisville Ironman Triathlon in August and look forward to the challenge. I am finding that this second Ironman takes a very different kind of motivation. One I am struggling with each day. Let's see how this next week goes.
